A decade ago, Colin Bryce embarked on a journey fueled by a passion for tech and a vision for a more collaborative, secure and sustainable way of working, which led to the creation of Cobry.

Having worked in a variety of roles, including education, engineering, and finance, Colin experienced the limitations of traditional technology solutions and recognised the future in cloud-based technology, and more specifically Google Cloud.

Today, as we celebrate Cobry’s 10-year anniversary, we take great pride in our transformative partnership with Google and our commitment to empowering businesses to thrive in the digital landscape. Read on to find out more about Cobry and our evolution. 

Embracing the Google Cloud Technology

When Cobry was founded in 2013, the Cloud was still unfamiliar and scary, and many businesses were unsure of this new technology. However, Colin’s vision was clear - Google Cloud technology held the key to the future. He saw its ability to enhance collaboration and streamline processes for businesses. Google Workspace and its ease of use provided the ideal foundation for companies to focus on what’s important for their strategy and growth rather than resolving technical issues. 

As Cobry grew, we started adding more services to our offering, including the Cobry Compass: our pathway to unlocking data-driven success and enabling organisations to make informed decisions.
